50th Anniversary Celebration Jack Wild - Technical Director
Jack Wild, Technical Director, celebrates an incredible milestone—50 years with Hill Top Research! Jack's long and distinguished career began as a Lab Technician on August 18, 1958 and within two years, he was running a subsidiary of Hill Top Research, Cintest, Inc., a position he held for five years. From the 1960's into the new millennium, Jack has held various VP/GM and Technical Director roles at Hill Top sites in Ohio, New Jersey, Florida and Manchester, England.
Jack's technical expertise covers a very broad spectrum in all areas of contract clinical testing including Phase I thru Phase III drug evaluation with emphasis in the areas of ascending dose tolerance, PK, dermal irritation and sensitization including phototoxicity and photoallergy, safety and efficacy of various cosmetic and OTD drug products including antiperspirants, sunscreen, antidandruff and antifungal agents, claims support testing, and human test panel methods, to name a few. His special interest is in the investigation of claim support evaluation, acting as an expert witness for clients with the NAD, National Mediation Panel, and litigation disputes involving claims. He has served as in-house trainer for skin and odor evaluation at Hill Top Research, and has over 35 publications/presentations to his credit.
Jack graduated from Xavier University, Cincinnati with a B.S. in Chemistry. He is a life member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Testing and Materials (Retired), and the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (Retired).
Hill Top Research is indeed fortunate to have someone of Jack's caliber and international reputation as part of our scientific team for all of these years. As Jack commented to the guests at his celebration, "It's the special people you are that make working at Hill Top so much fun for me. I hope to keep on keeping on as long as you need or want me." And we do need and want him to keep going.
