Kathy Shannon began her career with Hill Top in 1997. Since that time she has held positions such as Recruiting Manager, Report Writer and Study Manager.

As the Site Manager of the Scottsdale, Arizona loction, Kathy is responsible for providing management and leadership for the site which includes ensuring superior customer service for clients and overseeing the quality of every study conducted.

Kathy holds an Bachelor of Science from Kent State University and is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

Kathy Shannon has the responsibility for clinical site management and the design, execution, monitoring and analysis of clinical trials that meet our standards of excellence at the Scottsdale site.

Ms. Shannon joined Hill Top Research in 1995 as a Report Writer at the Scottsdale site. In 1998, in addition to retaining her Report Writer duties, she also took on the Recruiting Manager role. In 2002, Kathy was promoted to Study Manager, followed two years later by her promotion to Assistant Site Director. In September, 2006, she was promoted to her current position as Site Manager.

Kathy obtained her B.S. in Special and Elementary Education from Kent State University. She was designated Certified Clinical Research Coordinator from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in May 2003. Her special skills include biological and chemical laboratory experience, protocol and report writing. She has two publications to her credit in sensory testing and dermatological safety testing.
